REMARKS: After donating 47 acres to the city's Open Space conservancy program the City Council approved a 110,000  SQ. FT., 111 bed ALMC on the remaining 4 acres. Besides satisfying the usual city requirements we had to process a zone change from Industrial to Public Lands- ALMC project zone - and a General Plan amendment.
Finally we had to design a pump station to service the water needs of this project. The environmental wing of the TO City Council was not in favor however until we came up with the idea of affixing solar panels to the roof. This change won them over and we achieved a 5-0 for/against final vote.
